Calculator inputs

All calculations are performed on your device by code running in your browser. The amounts and options you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers, and you do not need an account to use the site.

When you change a calculation, the page address is updated with the calculator settings (for example ?salary=100000&year=2026-27) so you can bookmark or share it. These addresses contain only the numbers and options you chose. If you share a link, the recipient can see those settings.

Analytics

This site does not currently use analytics. If Google Analytics is enabled in future, it will use cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type, and this policy will be updated. Page addresses, including calculator settings in the address, may be recorded by analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site does not currently display advertising. If advertising such as Google AdSense is added, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and this policy will be updated. You can manage personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, the pages requested, and browser details. These are used for security and troubleshooting.

Contacting us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to respond. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted by contacting us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
